Important information about certifying tutor training programs:

  • Whose programs are ITPC certified? When do they expire? We have a webpage which can take you to an Excel spreadsheet you can open which lists all current ITPC-certified programs, their status, and date of expiration.

  • The application process page, where the fees and process are described and the terms defined. There are also links to the application forms.
Note: The W-9 form (MSWord doc) for vendor information needs is at http://www.crla.net/itpc/crla_w9.doc.

  • If you have not looked at the ITPC Certification Requirements, you will want to open and may want to print that document.

  • Be sure to look at the Application Samples, Application Tips, and the FAQs as you get ready to prepare an Application for certification as new, reflection/renewal, or re-certification.

  • ITPC Reviewers are available to answer questions and help programs complete the online application process. See the Contact Information to find the email address or phone number of a reviewer to contact to answer your questions.

  • The CRLA Board approved a fee increase for ITPC Applications (New, Reflection/renewal, and Re-certification) effective July 1, 2009. The fee increased from $100 per level to $150 per level with a savings of $50 per level if you apply for multiple levels at the same time (as before). See the ITPC application fees and description sheet.

  • The ITPC program is also able to process business or personal credit cards (Visa, MC, Discover) to pay for ITPC certification fees rather than checks: contact Rick Sheets, ITPC Coordinator, when ready at 623-240-0572 (new number per his retirement from his college on 1/8/2010).

  • CRLA''s ITPC program supports ATP logo 's (Association for the Tutoring Profession)
Code of Ethics -- Check it out!

  • ITPC Pins for Level I, II, & III Certified Tutors, take a look!

  • ITPC is looking for interested ITPC Reviewers. Contact Olga Thurman ph:(915)831-2740, email:othurman@epcc.edu for more information or visit our Reviewer Information webpage.

Take time to check out the information in the links at the left.
