Conference Sessions Evaluator

The Conference Sessions Evaluator is responsible for working with the President-Elect to create and provide evaluation forms for each breakout session and Institute at the conference. The Evaluator writes a conference evaluation report after the annual conference, analyzing the results. The term of office is three years.  Click here for job description.


Media Advisory Board Coordinator

  1. With approval of the Board, appoints at least four other members to serve staggered terms on the Media Advisory Board.
  2. With the assistance of the Media Advisory Board, evaluates proposals for publications forwarded by CRLA members, Media Advisory Board members, and the CRLA Executive Board.
  3. Calls and chairs meetings of the Media Advisory Board as needed and as permitted by the budget, whether by conference call, electronic communications, or face-to-face meeting at the annual CRLA conference.
  4. Suggests to the CRLA Executive Board any publication proposals likely to enhance the field, the professional expertise of CRLA members, and the professional standing of CRLA.
  5. Works with the Media Advisory Board to create and promulgate policies, publication proposal forms, and suggested publications that have been approved by the CRLA Executive Board. Click here for job description.

International Tutor Training Program Coordinator

The ITTPC Coordinator is responsible for management of the ITTPC program and is the Program Team Leader for all aspects of the ITTPC program. Click here for job description.

 


 

NewsNotes Editor [ex-officio Board member]

The NewsNotes Editor is responsible for publication of CRLA NewsNotes, solicits articles, edits copy, oversees distribution; serves as ex-officio, non-voting Board member. The Editor serves a three-year term beginning at the completion of the annual CRLA conference with additional three-year terms possible. Click here for job description.

 


 

Executive Assistant to the CRLA Board [ex-officio Board member]

The Executive Assistant creates and maintains the information infrastructure to support the CRLA Board of Director’s activities and actions, with a focus on smooth transitions for incoming officers. The Executive Assistant serves as the Parliamentarian for the Board of Directors and as the liaison with the Past Officer’s Council in that group’s role as bylaws committee. The Executive Assistant maintains job descriptions and a policies and procedures manual. He or she must have served as a past officer of CRLA (President preferred) and have been a CRLA member for seven or more years. The term of office is three years.
