S/R/C Directors & Presidents

2011-2012

Dear State and Region Directors and Chapter Presidents,

The primary purpose of CRLA’s State, Region, and Chapter groups is to provide a forum for CRLA members to connect with their neighbors. These groups give members a way to come together to share information and ideas, gain skills, provide mutual support and inspiration, and achieve common goals throughout the year.

Local symposiums and drive-in conferences make rewarding and memorable alternatives and/or additions to attending CRLA’s annual conference in a distant city. Sometimes the best ideas come from our neighbors.

However, for the groups to fulfill their purpose, your continued Leadership is vital. As a leader you make a powerful impact on your group’s ability to share and discuss important research and practice. You are also instrumental in helping your colleagues to connect with each other.

Please explore the S/R/C Leader information available at crla.net under CRLA Leaders’ Forms. It has policies that affect you, a newsletter template, important funding deadlines and policies, and more.

As Coordinator of S/R/C Leaders and your liaison to CRLA’s Executive Board, my role is to support your work. Please keep in contact and let me know what the Board and I can do to help you and your members accomplish your goals.

On behalf of the Board and your S/R/C colleagues, I thank you for your leadership. We look forward to a year filled with new discoveries.

Sincerely,
 Ann
Ann Wolf
CRLA Past President
