The Journal of College Reading and LearningJCRL is an international forum for publishing high-quality articles on theory, research, and policy related to developmental education, postsecondary literacy instruction, and learning assistance at the postsecondary level. JCRL is published 4 times a year for the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). As part of our journal’s partnership with Taylor and Francis, we are able to provide CRLA members access to an additional two journals, Community College Journal of Research and Practice and College Teaching. White PapersCRLA's white papers are authoritative, evidence-based reports written by experts. These papers comprise a critical synthesis of the current scholarly thinking on a particular issue. White papers are available for free download and should be shared with administrators, practitioners, and researchers. Handbook for Training Peer Tutors and MentorsThe Handbook is a must-read resource for postsecondary faculty and learning center professionals who hire, train, and supervise tutors and mentors and is designed to inspire development of training programs that meet the high standards of CRLA's two certification initiatives. Starting a Learning Assistance MonographThis monograph, with twenty conversations covering different aspects of starting a learning assistance center, allows professionals to hear authorities in this field of education address a variety of topics from technology to assessment to organizational structure and much more. ResourcesThe College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA)'s resources are materials, professionally curated by scholars, experts, and/or practitioners, serving to disseminate timely information and resources to those across our respective fields. These peer-reviewed resources are available free to be shared with administrators, practitioners, and researchers alike. |
